This pretty necklace is made with rainbow soochow jade 15mm diamond shaped stones. I surrounded the stones with tiny 14-k gold filled round beads and wire wrapped them onto 14-k gold filled chain.
Although the stones are called rainbow soochow jade, the stones are actually serpentine, a very common silicate mineral. The beautiful rainbow colors of this semi precious stone are created via heat-treatment - the different colors result from heating the serpentine to different temperatures, resulting in permanent color change. These particular stones are a mix of pale greens, olive browns, and burgundy.
The necklace is 17 inches (43.18cm) in length, not including the 14-k gold filled large lobster clasp.
If you need this necklace made shorter or longer for a perfect fit, at check-out send me a message with the measurements that you need (in inches or centimeters). I will make the necessary adjustment before shipping.
The necklace will arrive in an attractive box suitable for gift giving.
